Haslett, Michigan

The community of Haslett is immediately adjacent to East

Lansing and serves as one of the area's more affluent suburbs,

with several upscale neighborhoods and an excellent school

system.

Haslett High School has an extensive Advanced Placement

Curriculum. Haslett students test scores are well above state

and national averages. High percentages of Haslett graduates

go to attend college.

Haslett is conveniently close to the cultural amenities and entertainment of Lansing and nearby Michigan

State University while the community's tree-lined streets and quiet neighborhoods allow for a living

experience that contrasts with a busy city.  Haslett is experiencing huge commercial growth with new

businesses continually establishing in the area.  A large variety of shopping and dining is available at the

Meridian Mall shopping district.

Haslett is most notable for being the home of Lake Lansing. The lake is approximately 500 acres in size

and features two public parks, allowing access to beaches, fishing, and a boat launch. Two major sailing

clubs are active on Lake Lansing.
