East Lansing shares a common border with Lansing
and is known mostly as the home of Michigan State
University, whose stately campus spans a good portion
of the city limits. The city's main street shopping
district borders the MSU campus on the north and is
known for its many unique shops and restaurants
which serve the student and local population.
East Lansing has an unbeatable combination of historic
small-town atmosphere and cosmopolitan
sophistication. Tree-lined avenues, a variety of
beautiful homes, and its proximity to a number of shopping areas give East Lansing its small-town
ambience. The presence of one of the nation's largest centers of learning, Michigan State University, and
